I don't think it matters whether or not people are the ALF and I don't think people should necessarily think it's important to be the ALF. What's important is to act in a way that saves animals from slaughter and suffering. What name is given to that doesn't matter. ~ Ronnie Lee
I would add that my reference to the ALF includes all forms of direct action. Although such action has achieved some considerable gains for the cause of animal protection, I think we have to accept that, realistically, it can only ever form a very small part of our overall movement and that the way forward will mainly be through public education and political campaigning.
