I operate on my own terms, I say what I want to say ...

I operate on my own terms. I say what I want to say, when I want to say it, and where I want to say it. I work for the animals and the animals alone. I am not here to placate activists and win a popularity contest. ~ Gary Yourofsky

  4. Nick Cooney will be our chat guest this weekend (Aug 20). He'll probably have something interesting to say about activists not caring about how others view them. The truth is, a social movement is, crudely, a popularity contest. Activists and advocates want large numbers of people to change. We ought to do the things that get the largest number of people to change and stop doing the things that turn people off to our cause.
