The most rewarding part of running [our] group is that we are self-directed advocates, able to do what we want, how we want to do it, and continually reflect on the effectiveness of our work and change course whenever necessary. ~ Brandon Becker.
That's how I feel about being part of NO GROUP - and taking something from everybody. I've taken a lot from the Francionists! I've taken from Animal Rights Zone guests (not the welfarists), and I've taken from many, many activists on Facebook, I've taken a lot from Gentle World, and I've taken A LOT from my own conscience and soul. I'm not self-directed, but an "animal-directed" grassroots activist.
